Frequently Asked Questions

I have a yoga certification. Can I use it to teach Pilates?

Yoga and Pilates are different disciplines, so a yoga certification doesn’t qualify you to teach Pilates. However, your experience may provide a helpful foundation for learning.

Can I take just the mat or just the reformer portion of the training?

At this time, Briq Haus Pilates requires completion of the full foundational certification to enroll.

I may be pregnant during the training. Can I still participate?

For safety reasons, we do not recommend participation beyond 19 weeks of pregnancy, as certain movements may not be suitable. If under 19 weeks, physician approval may be required. Please consult your doctor and notify us in advance.

Will completing this training guarantee me a teaching job at Briq Haus Pilates?

Completion of the certification does not guarantee employment. However, you will be eligible to audition for a teaching position at Briq Haus Pilates, as all instructors must meet additional hiring criteria.

Will this certification allow me to teach at other studios?

While certification does not guarantee employment at other studios, you will gain a strong foundation in classical and contemporary Pilates, making you highly marketable in the industry.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! Flexible payment plans are available to make training more accessible.

What if I miss a session? Can I make up the time?

All training must be completed in person on the scheduled dates. The only exception is the final assessment, which may be completed at a later date virtually.
